As my second year at Berklee College of Music comes to a close, I’m taking a moment to reflect on everything that shaped this season of learning, growth, and creativity.

✨ Highlights ✨

• NOMÁDY — our international R&B/funk/soul girl trio continued to blossom. We arranged classics in our own style — full of groove, warmth, and rich vocal harmonies. Collaborating with international students added new cultural layers to our sound, and we’ve grown not just musically, but personally. This summer, we’re getting ready to release our debut single — a moment we’ve been building toward since our very first rehearsal together. NOMÁDY has become more than a band — it’s a musical sisterhood.

• Collaborations That Inspired Me — One of the biggest gifts this year was the chance to work with incredibly talented artists like Anika Sky, Stella Moss, Sofia Devitt, and Lauren Jeans. Each collaboration was unique — from experimental vocal layering to powerful live performances — and helped me stretch both creatively and emotionally.

• Studio & Stage — I’ve spent a lot of time this year both performing and recording, and I’ve especially loved being in the studio, where I had the chance to record a wide range of drum parts for different artists and projects. Whether behind the kit or on stage, these experiences taught me how to support a song with intention and listen more closely to what the music really needs.

Living so far from home can be hard sometimes. Being alone on the other side of the world has challenged me in ways I couldn’t predict — emotionally, culturally, and spiritually. But I truly believe that this journey is shaping me into a stronger, more grounded person, both in life and in music.
