About
Kristýna Sibinská is a Czech drummer with professional experience on international festival stages and in both live and studio settings. Born and raised in the Czech Republic, she began her musical journey at a young age through an after-school music program, where she studied drums, music theory, multiple instruments, and band performance. Around the age of 10, she co-founded an all-girl band, performing at numerous festivals across the country — an early demonstration of her commitment to creating space for women in music.
By her early teens, Kristýna was already an active presence on the Czech music scene. In 2018, she won first place nationwide in a Czech drumming competition, and in 2019 she became the Under 18 champion of the international women’s drumming competition Hit Like a Girl.
She continued her musical studies at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague, graduating in 2022 with a high school diploma. During this time, she simultaneously performed on major stages with jazz and fusion artists such as Boris Urbánek, Rudy Horvat, and Peter Lipa. Notable appearances include the Batumi Jazz Festival in Georgia (2022) and Smetanova Litomyšl (2023).
Alongside her jazz and fusion work, Kristýna has been deeply involved in high-energy rock projects, including AC/DC Revival and Red Hot Chili Peppers Revival, showcasing her stylistic versatility and commanding stage presence.
Driven by a desire to grow beyond borders, Kristýna applied to Berklee College of Music, where she was accepted with a full-tuition scholarship. She is currently based in Boston, studying Drum Set Performance while expanding her skills in music business and music recording and production.
While at Berklee, she co-founded NOMÁDY, an international women’s trio blending R&B, funk, and soul, built on original arrangements, groovy beats, and rich vocal harmonies.
Known for her strong time feel, musical sensitivity, adaptability, and reliability as a collaborator, Kristýna is committed to helping artists bring their ideas into fully realized performances and recordings.
Kristýna is set to graduate in May 2027 and is preparing to fully step into her career as a touring and studio drummer.
